so I would definitely keep the chorus in, but maybe just shortening it? keep the crucial stuff? as I understand it it could be like this:

All over the evening news
About him hating jews
(On the phone is his dad) - don't know about that line, adds background to the story maybe, so keep it?

To be honest, I couldn't get into the Chorus. The rest is great, but that bit seemed to lack flow and not really add anything new to the song. Could just be me.When she asked for a drink
He did not stop to think - great first two lines. You know almost exactly what's coming, but not quite enough to make you stop reading/listening right there. You also give enough detail throughout to keep the listeners interest. And all in AABB. Well done!

Hmmm, also just thought that you've got your Title from the Chorus, so that's another reason you might not want to change/lose that bit. As I say, it could just be me. It's your song after all!
