Pbee - The "Son" may float around a little before this song
is complete. What you said about the beginning and end
being the same made me realize that where I placed it could
be the first word of the next line also.

Drunkrock - Actually I tried working the music out for this and
found I will most likely change same things around a little.


Vic and Olav - I played around with the thought of using "My"
Maybe I'll have to rethink it now.

One thing you might want to try - in the first couple of verses, the narrator's being told to get out of the kitchen - in the last verse, the narrator is passing on the same advice, so with that in mind, and given that he's been there 30 years, "Get out of MY kitchen...." might add a little emphasis....

Yeah not bad, I enjoyed the read thanks. I think "Son" is good in there but I would prefer it at the beginning of the next line, of course when its sung beginning or end its the same place isnt it.

Although I've been dealing a lot lately with what I call
"Other People's Drama" in other parts of my life.

So I guess it is a little cathartic.

I had a bit of a problem with the "fry cook"line too but wanted to
establish the relationship to the place right off.

I did take your suggestion and added "Son" to the end of that
line and think it helps.

I'm not sure if I will be recording this soon or not.
We will just have to wait and see.

The word cook threw me a bit , I am trying think of alternative for you but due to lack of ability I am comeing up empty , but I think that line should end the word son .
