What is bassomatioc :? .I have seen the tonight show and Jay leno rocks 8)

There's a comedy skit from the show Saturday Night Live. The skit parodies inexpensive kitchen appliances advertised on American television. The bassomatic is a blender into which one throws a bass and purees the whole fish for a tasty snack.

Hey musenfreund , i am vegetarian lol :D

English pronunciation can be pretty weird, and can vary from region to region.

We had at least 3 for the "a$$" sound - "ace" as in bass the instrument,
"arse" as in glass, and "a$$" as in bass the fish, or the donkey. Some places would say "glass" to rhyme with the fish though.

If you think that's too many for one set of letters, try OUGH. :D

oo.....as in through
er.....as in thorough (some say thurr oh, some say thurr er..... )
or..... as in thought
oh..... as in though
off.....as in cough
uff......as in enough
ow.....as in plough

That's seven, but there may be more.....

Oh yes.... lough... a sort of lake. That's anything from a sort of throat clearing sound..... to even something like "lock" depending on who and where you are.

Cheers, Chris

OK,

can anyone tell me how to pronounce "ghoti"?

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
