To all the country pickers out here:
What scale would you recommend to play as a solo when jamming to country?
What is the most common key?
I'm just now trying to branch out of the usual strumming and boom-chick stuff.

To start out, the most common scale is the pentatonic major... and the most common key is G

Thanks man! That's good to hear, as I'm still learning the major pentatonic scales right now. Now I just need to get my ears better in tune with the guitar to recognize the G when soloing?
