Hi guys, ive recently started to learn scales, and my question is:
When playing scales, does the left hand fingers should touch the lower string which for that instance are not played?
Foe example, while i play on the third string few notes, should my finger/s(most lightly) touch the second one? or this should never happen in any case?
Thanks! (Can upload a photo if question is not clear)
The only contact should be specific finger on the specific string at the specific fret.

Thank you! Any tips on fixing that problem(only happens when i try to play some kind of solo/improvise)? Im trying to arch my palm joint a bit more but it feels very unnatural( currently practicing on classic guitar).
Thanks again!
It should be easy on classical guitar because you have more space between the strings. It will come. You should start slowly with the easy scales - one octave up and down of C and A harmonic starting on the 5th string - and then move on.
There will be times your fingers touch other strings, but this will generally reduce the more you practise.
