Only one I know is a barre chord. Bar the 2nd fret and use your little finger on the 4th fret of the high E.

The notes for F#m11 are F#-A-C#-E-G#-B

Whenever you come across chords that have lots of notes (more than four), most guitarists will simplify the voicing. That means figuring out what notes are really important for the sound.

The notes you should include are:

- Anything that's altered in the chord name (if it says b9, you need the b9 - this particular one doesn't have any alterations)

- The highest numbered tone; here that's the 11th, B

- If it has a number higher than 7, you need to have the 7th - that'll be the b7 of the scale unless it says 'maj' 'M' or has a little triangle in the chord name, so here you want E (the b7 of the F# scale)

- if it says 'm', 'mi', 'min', or '-' in the name, you need the b3; here that's A

So we're up to three critical notes, A-B-E. Most voicings include the root, F# - the ones that don't include the fifth (C#)

So the easiest way to play this and get the flavor of the chord would be 2xx200 or 2x2200
