string changing

hey all,im been playin guitar for mayb a month and was wondering how often should i change my guitar strings. I play about 2 hours a day. Is there anything i should be careful of since i have never changed the strings before, it seems pretty straitforward. My guitar is a schecter c-1 +.thanks :wink:

I just changed my strings on my New York Pro 977CSB with light bronze strings and when i play my strings make a weird buzzing sound. I dont know if i put them on wrong or if like the strings arent meant for my guitar. Any suggestions?
