Actually, I learned the Gm from Mel Bay (fingered Tx0111). If you do that on the first fret you need to dampen the fourth string to fret it 1xx111 - then you get F-Ab-C-F, which is an Fm chord.
I play that with either a half barre across the first three strings, or as a full barre Em form chord.
Easiest electric neck? I don't think I've played any hard ones. Electrics tend to have radiused fretboards, which make barres easier than acoustics - although some acoustics will have a radiused fretboard, it's not as tight an arc as on electrics. But I don't really think of any guitars as inherently 'hard' or 'easy' to play, probably because I play so many different ones - you just adjust to them.
