Got the chords... anyone got a strum pattern? I have listened to the song, but am a neophite at detecting strum patterns...
The World I Know
VERSE I
D A G A
Has our conscience shown?
Has the sweet breeze blown?
Has all the kindness gone?
Hope still lingers on.
I drink myself of newfound pity
Sitting alone in New York City.
And I don't know why.
Verse II
D A G A
Are we listening?
Hymns of offering
Have we eyes to see
That love is gathering?
A
All the words that I've been reading
Have now started the act of bleeding
G
Into one....Into one.
CHORUS
D A
So I walk upon high
G
And I step to the edge
D
To see my world below.
A
And I laugh at myself
C
While the tears roll down.
G
'Cause it's the world I know.
D
It's the world I know.
VERSE III (look at end of Verse I)
I drink myself of newfound pity
Sittin alone in New York City.
And I don't know why.
Don't know why.
CHORUS (check out the first chorus)
So I walk upon high
And I step to the edge
to see my world below.
And I laugh at myself
While the tears roll down.
'Cause it's the world I know.
It's the world I know.
Yeah, I walk upon high
And I step to the edge
To see my world below
And I laugh at myself
While the tears roll down.
'Cause it's the world I know.
It's the world I know.
"All the world's indeed a stage, and we are mearly players, performers and portrayers, each another's audience, outside the guilded cage" - now was that Rush or Shakesphere?
Well, I think I have the verse down but not the chorus.

It's real easy and give's the verse that deep dark sound. I think it's a combination of these 2. Use the first pattern but start on BM 70x7. Fool around with it, I think you'll get it. If not I'll try to tab it out but I have trouble doing that. I'll try to find the chorus strumming pattern.
