A very cool song, I didn't see it posted so here it goes.
First. this song, and a couple others on Nirvana's Nevermind ("lithium" and "drain you"). You'll need to drop the tuning on your guitar one full step.
From E A D G B e -- to --> Eb G# C# F#Bb eb -- and finally --> D G C F A d.
Second. if you want to recreate the effects in this song, use a small clone chorus pedal for the verse. and for the chorus and the solo use a distortion pedal and the small clone
Verse
G--------------0--0-------------2--2-
D--0--0--1--2--2--2--2--1--0--0--- repeat
Chorus
d-----------0000------------------l------------0000------------------------
A-----------2222------------------l------------3333-----------------------
F-----------2222------------------l----4444---2222-----------------------
C----4444-2222------------------l----4444---0000-----------------------
G----4444-0000---"memoria"---l----2222------"I swear that I don't have a gun"
D----2222-------------------------l-----------------------------------------
solo on F string
F--6--9-9--11--6--9-9--11--6--9-9--11--13--13--11--9--6----
It's probably not 100% accurate, but I'm 99.999% sure :D , have fun with this golden oldy. lol
Nice to see someone contributing to the forum with the very first post! Welcome to GN!
Just a little info for future reference - when writing out tabs, it's easier to write them out in notepad, then copy them out to your post by using the "code" option....example....
d----------0000------------------l-----------0000----------|
A----------2222------------------l-----------3333----------|
F----------2222------------------l----4444---2222----------|
C----4444--2222------------------l----4444---0000----------|
G----4444--0000---"memoria"------l----2222------"I swear...|
D----2222------------------------l-------------------------|
As long as the tab lines up in notepad, it'll line up nicely in the final post, no matter what it looks like before you submit. And it doesn't half save a lot of messing about editing!
:D :D :D

Hi all
first of al thanks for your contribution. I wish to add just a couple of info which may be helpful
a) strumming pattern: in the verse it is
d/du/du/du/du/du/u/du
in the chorus
d/du/u/du
b) intro riff:please notice that it starts with a 1,5 pick-up beats (anticipation), so when you play count 1and,2and,3, then start with
u/du
then go on with the complete pattern
Last thing: Nirvana play it with alternate picking but if you wish an harder version you could play it with downstrokes only
Cheers
