Can someone please submit a tab for the easiest Metallica piece you can find? It would be greatly appreciated. 8)

As another beginner, I think your best shot is Fade to Black. Just look it up, there are some simplified versions that'd be right up your alley!

Henry Garza, Saul Hudson, and Darrell Abbott could not be here tonight, but they all had sex and are proud to announce the birth of their two-headed baby, Rodya S. Thompson.

Metallica released an album called "Garage Inc." (I'm sure you've heard of it), it's all cover songs and alot of the songs are easy, like: So What (there's tons of vulgarity in this song though), Stone Cold Crazy, etc.

Easy Metallica originals?? Well, Enter Sandman is easy... Nothing Else Matters... Fade to Black

You know, I don't particularly want to make myself out to look like an untalented n00b, but Nothing Else Matters and Fade to Black seem to have a lot of techniques and fingerpickings that I can't quite get right int he versions I play. I also play them out of "Metallica: Riff by Riff by Mark Phillips". I wouldn't say that they are difficult songs in general, but they seem to be some of the most difficult that I've seen in this book, which covers Kill 'Em All to the Black Album.

Anyway, I've always thought For Whom the Bell Tolls and Harvester of Sorrow were pretty easy. The intro to One and Fade to Black are fairly easy, and can be learned at practically the same time.

id suggest one and for whom the bell tolls. both fairly easy (well rythm parts anyway :p) fade to black is fairly handy, and the intro solo is alot of fun.
unforgiven is probally the best example i can think of tho.
ill try and dig up a tab for it by the weekend

This is my signature. Fear it.

The first metallica song i learned was Hero of the day, it's an enjoyable song and really easy to play... (yes, even the solo).
