Vic is right - Hank Williams Sr. originally had a big hit with "Hey Good Looking" - many believe it's Hank's signature song along with "Your Cheatin' Heart".

I still have my Dad's old Hank Williams record with him wailing out the song.

Check the links:

hey here are the chords I found :

Hey, Good Lookin' - Hank Williams~

C
Hey, hey, good lookin',

Whatcha got cookin'?
D G C
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me?
C
Hey, sweet baby,

Don't you think maybe
D G C
We could find us a brand new recipe?
F C
I got a hot-rod Ford and a two-dollar bill
F C
And I know a spot right over the hill.
F C
There's soda pop and the dancin's free,
D G
So if you wanna have fun come along with me.
C
Hey, good lookin',

Whatcha got cookin'?
D G C
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me?

I'm free and ready,
So we can go steady.
How's about savin' all your time for me?
No more lookin',
I know I've been tooken
How's about keepin' steady company?

I'm gonna throw my date-book over the fence
And find me one for five or ten cents.
I'll keep it 'til it's covered with age
'Cause I'm writin' your name down on every page.
Hey, good lookin',
Whatcha got cookin'?
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me?

I'm still trying to work out the strumm pattern I'm fairly sure it's
D-du-Udu - but I'm getting lost in there somewhere will get a couple of mates over to help me and will post the results of that session on here

Maybe someone else might know it will have to wait till week end for the session though

Probably completely wrong but I can seem keep a good steady thing going with a D_DUD_DU pattern.
Mind you I am also wailing out the vocals as well (good thing there is no one else here to listen)
