Ok another question on Standard Notation woot I can already play the first song in the berklee book, Sea to Sea but since its a duet lol I cant play it by myself.
Ok on to the question
When there is a chord in Standard Notation for example a C chord with the notes C - E - G written, do I only play C-E-G like the ones in the fifth string, 4th string and 3rd string and I dont play the C in the B string or the E in the 1st string ?
I know when the higher notes are written I play them but when they are not I dont even if they are the same notes ? ( but different tones :O )

Right. The pitches shown are the pitches you play. If the composer wanted a chord that included the other strings, you'd see more notes - always one for each string played.

Ok, so most stuff can be played in open position, the only thing that cant is something that has the 8va sign ( unless its a real low note which you will play on the high strings ) but playing 8vas of the C in the second string, will require me to move up. And if it specifies the position.
So I guess reading is not that hard, I just have to keep practicing ?
