OK this a new one on me, very different to what I normally write (especially over in the SSG).
A very dark, mordbid kinda song, hearing very overdriven, crunchy, drop-C / metal chords for this one.
Nightmare Machine
(whispered)
Creeps into my dreams
Seeps inside my mind
Festers in my very soul
A nightmare machine……………… on the inside
(heavy guitar explosion)
Verse 1
Fighting a private war
Inside an enclosed mind
An enemy invisible
Escapes my detection
Facing a battle
Immense as time and thought
An overpowering soulless golem
A shapeless form inside
Chorus
Creeps into my dreams
Seeps inside my mind
Festers in my very soul
A nightmare machine on the inside

In the midst of myself
Confrontation gains no means
Peering over the edge
Of serenity and sanity
Reasoning brings upon
Revelations written in memory
Demons growing inside my head

Haven't got an outro verse/chorus thingy yet, might try to add one later.

Just a thought on your ending - outro thingy as you put it :lol:
Why not revisit the beginning ..
Music quitens and that whispering vioce comes back singing
