Heres a song I am working on. Mp3 coming up next week I think
It Must Be Love
by Jim Couch
How could you look me in the face
Through of all this disgrace, I put you through
How can you be standing at the door
Not letting me go walking through
And I know it hurts so bad,
When I am yelling, screaming mad, back at you
Still when we lay in bed at night
Your lips still whisper lightly, I love you
It must be love..... It must be love
It must be love
Ya know at times I've hurt you bad
and left you feeling mad, and crying on
But I never meant to hurt you
Or turn your loving soul into a heart of stone
And at times you get so silent
I feel as though this thing will never work
But now I know you just dont want
To say those hurtful things to the one you love
It must be love..... It must be love
It must be love
When I'm tearing down the walls
Making you feel so small, a little girl
When I'm howling at the moon
Insensitive so through and through
When I'm throwing in your face
All those times you made big mistake
When I'm swearing out of fear
Your face is soaked with tears, but you just love
it must be love
It must be love
It must be love
It must be love

HI Jim
I have read too many lyrics over my short time here to fall into a trap of giveing a a review and say something does not seem right with some wording only to have the author post a MP3 weeks later , and prove me wrong ...
So Jim ol mate its' like this I reserve the right not comment on this till you post your MP3 ...
Do you think I would succeed in politics ? Talk about a response that gives you nothing from it ...'
Anyway mate looking forward to your interpretation of the lyrics you have posted , and I am eager to see how you sing this :
" How could you look me in the face
Through of all this disgrace, I put you through "
Cheers Jim

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
LOL I totally understand buddy.
Actually, that is one of the easier ones to sing. Theres a few toughers ones in there.. I will definately post you an MP3 soon

hi jim
i must say that i to would like to hear this song it is a hard one to comment on depending on melody i will be waiting for your mp3 as well
 mystic
Its funny. I thought that i would try a different method for recording this song.
Normally, I will get a drum beat going. Then I will play guitar. Then go back and sing.
This time. I recorded the drums and then sang the song Acappella (well, with the drums) but no guitar. Then I went back and did guitar. LOL
Well, needless to say without the guitar to keep me in tune i was SO FLAT.. LOL It was horrible but I think I will have something down before tomorrow that will be decent quality to listen to.

My query on "" How could you look me in the face

Were answered nicely ..
Thats a very nice tune you got happening here ..
And don't you ever say anything bad about your singing again buddy , You have a very nice singing voice , the tune I thought was very CCRish
which is a good thing { in my opinion }
Sorry for missing your post
Trevor
