I'm writing a song for a really close friend of mine. She helps me through my dad, And I love her like a sister. She knows I play guitar and asked me to write a song about her, jokingly. I'm actually going to do it, and I want to record it and give it to her for christmas.
So far the chorus:
O' If the world were to end tommorrow
You'd be the one to tell me it's alright
And If I could live on forever
You'd be who I'd want by my side

The chorus and verse chords are on my soundclick, under catherines song WIP Recording One
The the three chord part is the chorus, the four chord part is the verse for now.
Thoughts on stage one?
Who needs a signature?
I mean really...
It's almost always lyrics...
or a cliche...
or garbage about me...
Lets just save YOU from the pain, ok?
Not bad, but the chorus sounds more romantic than you may be intending. If you really are "friends," might I suggest for the Last line in the chorus:
"You'd be the friend I want by my side"
