My last college exam was yesterday, and my girlfriend went home 300 miles away. All I have is work. Yesterday I played my guitar for 6:30 to 3:00 in the morning. I just finished Dust in the wind and few blues licks, now I'm working on Purple Haze on my electric and The Magic Bus by Peter Townshed on my acoustic. I have the magic bus sheet music, I found a tab with the intro the purple haze that was good but no verses anyone know it, so I can practice tonight. Thanks!

The chords I use:
E9# [x 7 6 7 8 x]
G [x x 5 4 3 x]
A [x x 7 6 5 x] (occasionaly [x x 7 6 7 x]
Feel free to use any other voicing for G and A (open, barre, whatever). The E9# is pretty important and is best left like this. Solo is Em pentatonic, just think of something yourself since he constantly played something different. The full tab for Guitar Pro at http://www.mysongbook.com is very good, and has a full transcription of the solo.
thanks arjen, it's hard to barre chords.

Use your thumb on the e for those chords too. Also the solo uses notes from E dorian.
