Wes, i agree. i bought an acoustic (Garrison G-20) several months ago, and it was then that i really got bored with the sound of barre chords. they just didnt seem to bring out the qualities of the guitar like i wanted, so i stumbled upon some different shapes, including the topic starting B7 and the chord i just asked about. the guitar always amazes me not only in the variety of ways to play the same chords, but in the different nuances and tones you can get by playing the same chord with different shapes.
