so not too long ago I bought a line 6 spider 4, 15 watt amp and it's great! But I have one problem with it. I like to play alot at night and I don't want to disturb my neighbors if they are sleeping so I bought a little adapter for my headphones to plug into and the other end plugs into my amp. when I plug in and play, Well I can hear when I play and everything but it sounds choppy, muffled and a really low volume. could it be my amp's headphone out Jack that isn't a good quality? From what I understand, line 6 amps are good quality so I don't know what the problem is. I know it's not my headphones because they are $200 headphones and sound amazing when plugged into my iPod. Could it be that I'm not using The right adapter to connect to my amp with? are there adapters specially made for what I'm explaining? It fits in the headphone out jack on my amp and my headphones in the other end fine and everything. thanks to all in advance :D
What types of jacks are on the amp and on the headphones? What kind of adapter do you use? Did you try to change it? Did you try other headphones?
What does Line 6's technical support say?

Yes, the ends particularly will tell about mono-stereo ends and such.

"I wonder if a composer ever intentionally composed a piece that was physically impossible to play and stuck it away to be found years later after his death, knowing it would forever drive perfectionist musicians crazy." - George Carlin
is it really a headphone ("Phone") output, or really a line ("Line Out" or "Recording Out")? A line out is designed to drive > 1k ohm loads (and in some marginal designs > 10k ohm loads). Headphones and earphones are typically range from 16 ohm to 50 ohms per channel. the signal from a line output driving a set of headphones may suffer treble rolloff and even clipping distortion.
