Hey Vic,
I myself have been lucky enough to not have suffered any
serious trauma but expienced family members recovering
from very tragic events. You know Shauns story. It will be a
year Tuesday since that event and he is doing so well. My
eldest daughter was burned over 65% of her body 2nd and
3rd degree about 8 years ago. We almost lost her once from
the event and again when she was recovering due to infection.
She has had to rebuild her life over again. My proudest day was
when I got to see her take her first steps for the second time in
her life.
Hang in there the fustration will pass and you will come through
it a better man. The hardest part will be finding the balance between
pushing yourself enough and pushing too much.
Take Care
John

Vic, I injured my knee when I was young. The doc said I would be lucky to gain 50% mobility back. Hmmm, I walk, run and do everything like a normal person. In other words, keep working at it, you WILL overcome this if you truly want to. It takes time to retrain the muscles and build strength.
