I'm impressed, Bish! That must've been a hard thing to do.
I thought I was done with GAS myself, but I had a GAS attack you can read about down in "Slide and Alternate Tunings."
Totally, Rico. It was a very hard thing to do. I stood around the place for almost an hour making sure that was what I needed to do at the time.
Definitely the looks and price sold me but that wasn't enough. :?

Well, despite their recent buyout, Gibson will be around building guitars for a long time. You'll have other opportunities. :D

Blasphemy! Sir, you have soiled the good name of GAS! I have 20+ guitars and I consider myself a musician as well as a collector.
LOL! I'll consider myself told off! I didn't mean that as a put-down, apologies if it came across that way....of course it's possible to be a serious musician (and I've heard both Bish and TR play, and, yes, I'd put them both there!) and a collector.
No appologies needed. :D You know me Vic, any chance to make a joke. Thanks for the compliment ... ummmm .... have you had your ears checked lately?

Buyout?
Ewan McGregor: I said, "Eve, I want you to look after my wedding ring while I'm away," and she started to cry and I said, "Eve. Eve, I can't wear my ring or I won't get laid on the trip!"
They call it a "merger" with The TC Group, a Danish audio firm. The head of TC will be the head of the new combined company and will stay in Denmark. Sounds like a buyout to me. Yeah, I've been on the losing end of one of those "mergers" before. Sucks.
