Wow, that's a heck of an idea! I'll have to search around though, I live in Napa, CA, and although it's famous, it's not really a large city and there's only a small guitar store in town. I basically have to drive about an hour to get to other stores.

I spent about 20 minutes at a GC today, but left the store with my head spinning and not much more of a clue.

Kinda hypnotic... sooooo maaaaannnnny preeeettttttyyy guitars!!!! All saying "Buy me!!! Buy me!!!"

You're right kingpatzer, I need professional help! Yeah, in more ways than one.
Thanks for the idea,
Dave

I know this thread is ancient, but what became of the Tak? And why on earth would you give up an exact Martin D-28 copy built by takamine to Martins prewar war plans for an entry level guitar? Martin set up and jigged them up to make their guitars, and then Takamine pulled out of the deal to be Martins second line and built guitars to rival Martins. Sigma then became Martins second tier while Tak built great guitars in Japan.
Tak was never sued by Martin as they owned thier plans, however, were told to stop useing what is now known as the lawsuit logo, even though no legal action was taken.
Anyway, if you still have it, are not happy with it, I would certainly be interested in buying it.
