I dont know about eveyrone else but I need to tune my guitar once every 5-6 days, and I play every day.
Same here. Granted, I've got 5 springs in it, the bridge set flush with the body, and I don't use the wang bar, and I'm sure that's a lot of it. That said, I tend to play at least a couple hours a day and I only find it needs to be tuned every four days or so.

Ive put in 5 springs also, I was gonna get the tremolo blocked but the tech wasn't in on saturday. I think you should consider it becuase its somehting you might as well do since you never use the wammy bar and youve got the springs in

Yeah, I've thought about it. Wouldn't be too hard, either - just a piece of scrap hardwood and a couple band saw cuts to get the angle right to make it fit well.
The only reason I haven't done it is because once in a blue moon I'll get an urge to fool with the wammy bar for 10 minutes.
Maybe this would be a good reason to buy another Strat....
