Hey, I'm sure someone has already posted about this, but frankly...I'm too lazy to look.
Here's what I'm looking for.
software that you can isntall into your computer so that you can plug your guitar, amp or whatever into the back of your computer, start a program, and record multiple tracks of music, for example, rythm lead and bass.
I'd like for it to have adjustements for your sound, like distortion and effects and your EQ's. and I'd like to have stero effects too..
Yah...that pretty much covers it.
anyone know of a program? (I know you do...one of you..)
and if you do, send a link or something so I can check it out.
Thanks!

There are tons.
Audacity (or whatever) is the best free one. The rest cost money.

I mean a rogram you buy. It colmes with stuff that you install into your computer by taking the back off of your computer and plugging it in directly to your mother board. Which when installed allows you to plug your guitar into the back of your computer tower.
After you do that, then you start up some program and it has a screen of your EQ's and effects, then you go to some other part of the program and record multiple tracks and stack them (Rythm, Lead, Bass) and make a song, then burn it to a CD.
I made all this up, cause I though I saw this before, but it makes so much sense to make a program that does this that I figured it would already be out. Sooo...anyone know of one that I just described? Line 6 make one or something?

Like they said - try Audacity.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
