i know this is a strange question but does anyone know of any good tubes that work well for 1 tube preamps? im looking for a warmer sound that still retains highs.. looking to change out my junk sovtek 12ax7WA. its served me well, but its never really given me goosebumps on a good tone night. im looking for a hi fi sound with good warmth. i know 1 tube wont make a huge difference but every little thing counts.
