Hello!
I recently purchased a cheap traveler guitar for $30 on amazon. I got it because I don't want to bring my beautiful Teton up camping and risk getting a crack from climate change. So when this traveler guitar came, I tuned it up and played a G chord. The noise it made was quite far from musical. However, after toying around with it, I found that it IS possible to play a G chord on it, it just has to be played one semitone lower than usual. Is there a simple fix for this? I'm assuming it's one of two things: the bridge is off a bit, or the nut needs to be filed down. I'm leaning more toward the nut because it's quite high compared to my other guitars.
Please feel free to give me any suggestions on what I should do. And I'll try to answer any questions if they're asked.
Thanks!
