I recently bought a '95 Charvel San Dimas. When I went to add some relief to the neck my allen wrench slipped instead of turning the rod. It adjusts at the top though a small hole. When I peered in there it looked pretty chewed up.I tried some penetrating oil with no luck. It's pretty tight.
Any ideas?
sounds like a job for a luthier.
depends on how much it's worth to you. did you pay a lot for it?
as a last resort maybe some needle nose "vise-grips"? how much of an adjustment does it need?
