Is there any way that the volume control knob can be moved so i dont knock it when i play? I mean, can a professional guitar repairer/maker do it?

Are you refering to the tremolo bar hitting the volume ?

i play a pretty standard samick.
i mean my picking hand hits the volume sometimes when i play.

Perhaps replacing the pot with a stiffer one would be of advantage ?
