Great one man. Loved the horns, such a lively sound. :) Is that the Izotope Vinyl plug by the way?
Good ear.. it IS Izotope.. but only kind of..
What I did was make two copies of the master.. made a crackle for one track.. then combined the tracks, faded the crackle out upon intro..
Towards the end I faded back in the crackle, and EQ'd the CLEAN track to be high in mids.. like an ol telephone.. and faded it out over the other crackle track... the Izotope EQ was too much or too little.. so I had to do that part maunaly.

If I remember right, I think he plays them himself.I could be wrong. Thats taking "Old School" to a new level 8)
:note2:
I do play the instruments myself (except for the drums which I have to program.. I actually started out a drummer, but even if I was a good one, the neighbors in my apt complex wouldn't be able to cope.. *G*)
Izotope Vinyl is a plug in that makes clicks and pops of an old record.. you can find the VST plug in here.. http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/vinyl/
Oh,,. and yes.. I am so old school they renamed the school three times since I attended! *G*
How come the link works for everyone but me?
Alien..
For the last several days Soundclick has proven to be a real dog..
Used to be at 3 am every morning they would shut down.. (which was the only time I could get to it.. *L*) for an hour..
As of late, middle of the day, any ol time.. totaly down.. the entire site..
If you try the links again there is a good chance they may or may not work by now..
