While cleaning up files I found this:
Hue (Hueseph) sent me a jazzy arpeggiated guitar part he calls What's That sometime last year, and I laid synth, drum pad and more guitar over the top of it. It turned out sort of spacy-ambient weird. Good for a laugh.
Don't turn up the volume to high in the beginning -- it builds a bit.

What was that!! :D
I liked it alot. Sounds like something Pink Floyd would do. 8)
Good job.

Hmmmm. That sounds way better than I remember it. Great job Greg! I never really liked the tune in the first place but you made it work. Something I wasn't able to do on my own. Thanks.
Thanks, Dan.
Hue, I did re-record the "bongo" track to correct some timing issues, but that was the only change. Glad you like the result. The littoral synth bit is a little campy; but sometimes campy is okay.

Guys, that was very cool. Great feel, recording sounds incredible. Good job all around!
Nice one guys, always a pleasure to listen to either one of you guys...so this is double the pleasure  Nice job. --the dog

Hey, I like it. What do you use to create the syth and drum pad?
"Like the coldest winter chill. Heaven beside you. Hell within." -Jerry Cantrell
Hey, quite nice! Really dig that synth tones a lot, what did you use for it? Possible but extremely small point of criticism (if I am allowed): it seems that one of the guitars is slightly off when playing the higher parts, could be my ears though. (just after two minutes)
Anyway, cool stuff. Sounds quite fresh.
Thanks guys. The drums are played bongo-style on a Roland SPD-6 percussion pad. The thing looks like a bathroom scale. The synth is a microKorg that I bought on whim. I call the solo synth part my "Gin and Juice" tone.
Arjen: You are correct, some of the bends are not quite "in." That's pretty much intentional. For better and worse it's part of my playing style. At times I tend to create some frission or even tension with over and under bending. I think a lot of this developed from the way I played my original instrument: trumpet.

Hats off guys! Thank you for sharing.

That was AWESOME :!:
Great Job Guys
Wow! Feel like I just took a stroll along a wintry, deserted oceanfront. Really created a mood for me.
Good job.
