Hi
Checking out music shop sites in Sweden and then USA I found out that you can find several of Behringer mixers and microphones sold under other brand names.
The Behringer UB 802 http://www.behringer.com/UB802/index.cfm?lang=ENG has a very similar twin under the name Phonic MU 802 http://www.phonic.com/partner/modules/product_explor/products_detail.php?product_id=33 #
And the Behringer mic XM 8500 http://www.behringer.com/XM8500/index.cfm?lang=ENG ( a Shure SM 58 clone) is also sold in the nordic countries under the name TSM MT58.
But at least in Sweden, the Behringer products has a lower price compared to their cousins under other product label names.

Price examples in Sweden (incl 25% VAT) :
UB 802 = 475 SEK approx = 60 US dollar
XM 8500 = 245 SEK approx = 30 US dollar

Tanglewood TW28STE (Shadow P7 EQ) acoustic
Yamaha RGX 320FZ electric guitar/Egnater Tweaker 15 amp.
Yamaha RBX 270 bass/Laney DB 150 amp.

I believe Behringer and Phonic are 'taking ideas' from the same source, I doubt they are working together in one way or the other.

Berhinger is probably making them for Phonic and Phonic just puts their name on it.
