Getting started!

So. I've grown tired of recording my songs through my headset mic plugged into my crappy SB Live.I have a tight budget living on student loans and I remembered my old music teacher talking about how great Behringer stuff is for it's price.I'm gonna record acoustic guitar and vocals and from what I've read in other topics I will need a decent soundcard with low latency, a preamp and a decent mic.For Mic I was thinking: Behringer XM8500 (will this mic do?)Combined with Behringer F-CONTROL AUDIO FCA202finally a mic cable and a xlr to 1/4 adapter.This will cost me a total of 152euro at my local store. Was planning on spending a maximum of 200euro so I even have some extra cash to buy a mic stand!Is this all I need to get started? Will it work well? Can I get a cheaper alternative for my purpose?

Dude! You have a great voice! Nice song. Very radio friendly. That's not a slag. If I could write radio friendly songs. I would wrigh a slough of them.

Thanks! I can't stand my own voice sometimes! But I guess alot of ppl are like that.
