hey--wondering if i could get any input on floor tuners.  i'm currently looking at the Korg DT Chromatic Tuner, the Boss TU2, or the Fender PT10.

if anyone could recommend something like this, or if anyone has experience with any of these that'd be great.  also, if there's anything out there like those mentioned above but for a cheaper price?  would i better off just getting an effects box with a tuner already built in?  thanks!

Here's a site with a few different ones to explore,

Click for Multipul Tuners

Click for more Multipul Tuners

It kind of is what will work for you.
Their all about the same. Some have a few more options that others.

I have the Boss tu-12.  I bought it used for $20 15 years ago.  It was a life saver then and I still use it most every day.  I try to take care of it, since I hear that tuners don't like to be dropped, but of course it gets dropped all the time.  It still works like a charm.
You can plug into it or use the condenser mike on the side (which is not sensitive enough to tune an unplugged electric, but works fine for a closely placed acoustic.)  It can be set for standard guitar or chromatic tuning, making it usable for alternate tunings.
The new ones seem expensive, but I can't complain for what I paid and the use I've got from it.
I don't use it in line with my amp though, so I don't know if it has any issues there.

so let's say i was going to get the Boss TU2.  my question now is how would i connect it all to my guitar for access during performances?  i've got a Boss DD-5 pedal and adapter already.  would i connect the tuner to the delay pedal using a daisy chain?  or would i plug my guitar into the tuner and plug the tuner into my amp?  thanks for your help.

I own the Boss TU2 and it is the best tuner I've ever owned. I would recommend it to anyone.

Live, I run my guitar right into the tuner for a clean signal. From there, I go to a distortion pedal, chorus, and phase. That's about all I'm using now. The nice thing about the TU2 is that it has a 9V out. You can buy the little daisy-chain cable from Boss. It is great. It allows you to power all your other pedals. This is what I do, and I've never had the least problem.  My tuner and all pedals are connected with 1' patch cables 1/4". I come out of my last pedal and go straight to my amp.
I also have the 9V adapter for the TU2. So I don't run it off battery. I have an extention cord and plug the adapter into that.

The TU2 is fantastic. It is very easy to see in the dark. It works for bass as well as guitar. You can mute your guitar when tuning between songs, or you can elect to bypass the mute so you can hear while tuning. It is not affected by background noise. It is extremely durable. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is absolutely the best tuner I've ever owned.
