I have an arion chorus pedal that is real noisy at high volumes. Is there a way to control this?

You can ride a Yamaha, or play a Yamaha, it is up to you.

A Noise gate. The basic usefulness of noise gates is to reduce noise in a signal by only passing the signal when it is at a significantly high level. This level effectively masks the underlying, unwanted noise which may be present in the signal. Rocktron Hush Noise and MXR M135 Smart Gate are both floor pedals for around $100.00.

Of course, That is what I like about these forums. I would have never thought of that. Thank you Forrock. Sometimes the easiest solutions are the ones you never come up with. Gives me another reason to visit GC, too.

Your Welcome.

Man. I remember a few stomp boxes back in the early 70's I bought brand new were real monsters in the noise department, then to top it off after being rode hard and put away wet they didn't have much for life expectancy. I had to play even louder just drown them out....lol
