I've noticed there are alot of different pickup configurations for bass guitars: I was just wondering what the difference between the configurations were, more specifically, what kinds of configurations are good for what styles. If anyone can answer that, then that would be great. (namely, i'm interested in knowing the difference between the sound of a p bass, split pickup and a jazz bass)
