Hello to all,This is my first post. I'm playing from the middle of August an old and not too many well preserved Spanish guitar. I was playing this guitar 25 years ago for a couple of years, I abandoned when my teacher tried to teach me the first barre chord. Since that moment it was in its case in a wardrobe. Now the neck is lightly "curved" and has some intonation problems. What a pity. I think it is (or was) a good guitar, the brand is Ramirez, but the most important is that it was my very first guitar.The basic idea is to play this guitar three months and check if I can keep playing when my other activities request more and more time. If so I'll buy a new, probably acoustic, guitar. At the moment I am achieving the goal and used to play every day when I am at home.I also played other musical instruments such as keyboards (where I learnt and understood a lot of things that my guitar teacher didn't teach me about musical theory and chord formation), harmonica, melodica and also several percussion instruments.I want to thank you all your posts, I've enjoyed and learnt a lot with some of them in particular with the posts which include advices on gear, technique and songs to other newbies as me.Also I want to thank to David and the other writers of lessons and articles on the GN web site. I find very valuable all this information and I used to follow the beginner songs to practice some aspects of guitar playing as strumming patterns and fingerpicking.Regards,Nuno

Welcome Nuno! As been said, a luthier can do miracles on a guitar, it might even end up better then it ever was. Enjoy!
