Sad news if you haven't heard it: Bruce Gary, drummer for the Knack, has passed on.

Ohhh no now you're asking for trouble. I actually had a Corona Monday night and got one of those killer instant hangovers, with a brain freeze headache before I'd even had half of it.
Desarae politely informed me that I must have got one that certain native people across the Texas boarder relieved themselves in. Nice, thanks for that.

I had no idea that he played with all of those great musicians. Only 55 years old... too bad.

'Course, drummers are usually way back there, not in the limelight. I never actually knew his name until the article.
Which reminds me (since he's largely unknown, but played with a whole bunch of people), I gotta find that Concert for Bangladesh DVD - want to watch Jesse Ed Davis again.
Let's see...last I saw, it's...somewhere in the house....
But all in all, I guess you don't have to be a 'household name' to play good music with great musicians.

Tell me about it. My band still doesn't know my name. They don't even notice when I'm not playing. :roll:
