BTW, the quote you were looking for in the first post is, "I look pretty young but I'm just back-dated, yeah...."

From Substitute.... apparently, Moon nearly killed Townshend over that song - he had no recollection whatsoever of playing on it, and wanted to know who the **** the drummer was......

:D :D :D

you know Vic, in the old days
when a young man was a strong man
all the people they'd step back
when a young man walked by
but, you know, nowadays
it's the old man,
he's got all the money
and a young man ain't got nothin' in the world these days.... :) :)

thanks everyone for the greetings. I felt kind of lame posting my b day, but ZI am all alone and pathetic. so thanks.

pick pocket...that is a good.

TR...growing old is actually fun, it is the falling down and getting lost that I find challenging.
for fun I leave my ID at home and wander out into the city to see what happens.
I was adopted by a family once. they were nice, but gave me too many chores.

I must give that a try, sounds like fun. Actually, I got lost in Minneapolis Airport once. Well, that's not strictly true - I tried to lose the Mrs but she kept finding me. No fond memories of that place (the Airport) whatsoever - we were grilled more thoroughly than a burnt steak by the Border Gestapo Patrol on the way in and missed our connecting flight, and spent a miserable 12 hours being shuffled about on the way out. When we went outside the airport for a smoke, we had to go all through the search procedures again to get back in....which I suppose is fair enough, but when you're stuck in Minneapolis Airport for 12 hours or so....

Shudders at memories and goes off to make appointment with therapist*

my apologies for the airport treatment...please know they treat everyone that way. I was patted down because my toothpaste tube was too big and I said something.
