Any Idea who's opening for him?

I don't know. Neither the ad nor the venue website mentioned anyone. Are you sure there will be an opener?

I'm going to try to see him. I know he is coming to town, but I forget when.

I did get tickets to see George Thorogood in March. :)

BB is playing at the Overture Center in Madison the evening of March 15.

The Overture Center is a nice place. Should be a great time. Have fun! :D

BB King's over here in the UK next month.....I was at the MEN arena on Saturday night, and looking at future concerts, the one that caught my eye first was

BB King and Gary Moore, 31st March, 7.30 pm....tickets £36....

MUST SEE!!!!!!!

(See also thread "Spoilt for choice!" on this forum.....)

PS Don't know if Gary Moore's opening or playing as part of BB's band.....

What a great show, BB played for a little over 2 hours with encores, did all his hits as well as his lesser known stuff. No opening act just BB, great show. AND I get to see him again tonight, he is doing a lecture at CU tonight, informal kind of thing with him telling stories and answering questions. Can't wait

I'm seeing him 1st April in Birmingham over in the UK with Gary Moore too! :D As far as I know, Gary Moore plays the first half, and B.B. the second..that's only what I've heard though.

My wife and I will be seeing him on March 19th in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I saw him last in 1988, but this will be a first for the missus. Does anyone know who is the opening act? Back in '88 it was the Fabulous Thunderbirds and Dr. John...

I've seen The Fabulous Thunderbirds and some young bluesrocker guy I can't remember open for him. I've seen Koko Taylor and Bobby "Blue" Bland open for him. That latter one was a real show!

The BB King performance here is tomorrow night! Yippee! 8)

Taking my pre-teen son, who is also learning guitar. This morning I asked him if he was excited about our "date" tomorrow night. He said, 'Yeah, there's nothing on TV tomorrow night anyway."

I shrieked loudly in outrage, and whipped around to look at him only to see he was yankin my chain. "I'm just KIDDING, Mom! Of course I'm excited!"

Kids! They do figure out how to push our buttons, don't they?

Yeah they do. After the show my wife and I asked our daughter what she thought, and she replied "He's plays okay for an old fat man" then after about 2 minutes during which I was to shocked to think let alone speak she sabout fell over laughing and yelled "I got ya Dad"
