Never saw stevie without a hat but I do have a very early recording of him where he introduces himself as Stevie Vaughn instead of Stevie Ray

This is all I could find.
I have seen him sans hat other times....
He looks.... Different. That's for sure.

I was actually lucky enough to have seen SRV in concert. Once.

I can't believe that any of Clapton's stuff from the Bluesbreakers Beano album isn't on the list.
His best playing without a doubt.

Especially: Double Crossing Time.
And what I think to be the best solo on that album; Have You Heard

I also think Janis' 'Ball and Chain' has a great solo - James Gurley/Sam Andrew. (Summertime is Great too)
