Hey guys!
It is time to get my first decent electric. After LOTS of research and thought I've decided to get an Ibanez because of their versatility, desgin and value for money factor. I also decided I wanted an S series(small, slick and ultra-thin mahogany body).
I was about to go and give it a try in a shop and something magical happened. I gues it is true - there is something about entering in a shop and changing your mind, no matter how much research you've done.
In my case: I saw this EDR470EX 
which looks an awful lot like a JS, my favourite guitar shape hands down. Then I noticed the beautiful hardware and those EMGs. Took it and it weighed a lot, especially compared to an S series. Played great, not much difference with the S IMO.
CUT TO THE CHASE: price tag was originally 775 EURO, currently 490(last units of this model were manufactured in 2004). This made me think it was a more quality product which was just outdated(no issue for me). Is it worth it? Is the price OK? I am getting ripped of by the guy who recomended it to me?
