I grew up at a roller skating rink in the 1980's so music has been important in my life for a long time. Er...sort of strange!?! Well, all I knew at the time was Ray Parker Jr.'s (or is that Huey Lewis And The News  )"Ghostbusters" and the rest of the soundtrack. My one and only tape cassette for a long time. I really didn't get into music until I got my first cd, Metallica's Black Album.
I can't imagine my life without music. Scary thought. Here's some songs that mean a lot to me.
The Call of Ktulu-Metallica (Ride The Lightning/S & M)
Lost Carol/You're Not Here-Silent Hill 3 soundtrack (yup a video game)
Layla-Eric Clapton
Remember Tomorrow-Iron Maiden (A Real Dead One)
Hey You-Pink Floyd
Voodoo Child (Slight Return)-Jimi Hendrix (Electric Ladyland)
Bleeding Me-Metallica (Load/S & M)
The last 2 are to remember my best friend.
"If I had a time machine, I'd go back and tell me to practise that bloody guitar!" -Vic Lewis
Everything is 42..... again.
