Just watch the notes he makes work under those chord changes . . .
While it's not a guitar, THIS is why playing patterns on the guitar doesn't ultimately work .. pattern playing can never reach this level . . .

Jazz is one of those things I just can't understand. That to me sounded like random notes played one after the other.
