...My brain actually itches now....

You're lucky. One of my remaining two brain cells melted, and the other one seems to have disappeared searching for it.....

:D :D :D

So explain this to me....KR2 can understand quantum physics but he can't figure out a guitar? Is that what I'm getting from this thread?   (just kiddin ya bud!!!) I know I'm not a genius, far from it, but I swear to you, as soon as I started reading that article I instantly heard the music from Schoolhouse Rock- Conjunction Junction.
Kinda difficult to read when you have this running through your brain....

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up phrases and clauses that balance, like:
Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
He cut loose the sandbags,
But the balloon wouldn't go any higher.
Let's go up to the mountains,
Or down to the seas.
You should always say "thank you",
Or at least say "please".

"In the mornings, when I'm usually wide awake, I love to take a walk through the gardens and down by the lake, where I often see a duck and a drake, and I wonder, as I walk by, just what they'd say if they could speak, although I know that's an absurd thought. "

Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.

The Infinite Improbability Drive is a wonderful new method of crossing interstellar distances in a few seconds; without all that tedious mucking about in hyperspace. As the Improbability Drive reaches infinite improbability, it passes through every conceivable point in every conceivable universe almost simultaneously. In other words, you're never sure where you'll end up or even what species you'll be when you get there. It's therefore important to dress accordingly. The Infinite Improbability Drive was invented following research into finite improbability which was often used to break the ice at parties by making all the molecules in the hostess' undergarments leap one foot simultaneously to the left in accordance with the theory of indeterminacy. Many respectable physicists said they weren't going to stand for that sort of thing, partly because it was a debasement of science, but mostly because they didn't get invited to those sort of parties.

This IID sounds similar to the Slipshod Schism.
The SS is a rift in the matter/time continuum. It is created with the use of the Matter/Time Discontinuator or M/TD.
However, tears in M/T can occur randomly (in our space/time dimension). It has a few references in literature. Alice accessed the Schism which resulted in her brief jaunt in the Wonderland realm. Peter Pan can access it seemingly at will to reach NeverNever Land. Rod Serling wrote about in his TV series. However, he wrote of just those “dimensions of sight and sound”. He didn't mention the unsound dimensions. Reality is too precarious there. And the unsightly ones are . . . well, just too unsightly to describe in a public forum.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
