U2 did win 5 grammies, and yes, one of them WAS for album of the year. they swept all their categories. that makes 8 grammies for the Atomic Bomb album.
it was a beautiful day for my boys. hahaha. sorry for the bad pun.

I remember the first year they had the "Heavy Metal" category. They gave it to Jethro Tull if I remember correctly.
Now don't get me wrong, I like Jethro Tull but...heavy metal?
I have never gotten over that one :lol: The Grammies are the arm of satin :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: ( thats Satins LAME arm) :lol: :lol:

My bad. I must have misread the paper. I thought it had been Green Day with album of the year. That must have been the upset I heard about. :? I guess I could have checked around on the net.
20 grammy's for U2 now. 8)

Dublin's Finest would Actually be Guiness :lol: although the boys from U2 do rank a close second

welllll, as much as i love guinness (and my refrigerator can attest that i do love it), I have to say that I love U2 just a teensy bit more :)
