Well ,

What do you guys think about this SX guitar -

http://www.rondomusic.net/dg180.html

I have checked out many views on agile guitars and rondomusic in general from this forum , so i though that you might be able to tell about this one.

Also does anyone know about this specific pre amp ?

Thanks to any help ,

I have a SX, just not that one. I have the GG1 Std Mahogany. It is a good guitar for the money, for sure. I am just now getting to the point to realize the pick ups could use an upgrade, but overall, you get great value for the $160 bucks (they've gone up $10 since I bought mine in July, fwiw).

As for the SX you referenced, it would probably be ok. No idea on the preamp. Personally, I have a problem buying any acoustic online, never having played it. My gut tells me you would get a fair quality guitar that would make a good first model.

I'd be carefull about the acoustic. It usually takes alot more money and craftsmanship to make a quality acoustic as opposed to an electric. It has often been said that builing an electric guitar is a skill, while building an acoustic is an art. Just be informed that you can not to a whole lot to an acoustic guitar to improve the sound or playability as you could with an electric. I personally would not touch it with a bargepole, it screams shopping channel to me, or Walmart Gibsons.
