The odds are against me, but hey, I've been a good boy. Atleast past week.

My two-year old son saw this at Costco and started shouting "dee tar! dee tar!" He's getting it for Christmas! And yes, it really says "Gibson" on the headstock. :lol:

Lots of great ideas on this thread. I realized no one was going to spend a great deal of money on me this year (i really have to quit dating poor women!) so I broke down and ordered a Blues Jr as a present to myself. The only gear I asked my girlfriend for is an Ibanez TubeScreamer. Between that and my new amp (still on its way), I will be very happy, for a little while at least.

And honestly, the Power Tour makes Guitar Hero look like a toy. :lol: This thing rocks!

I have to say, it is totally cool. Smoother heavy-metal distortion than many tube amps, and it's a Gibson! :lol:

You really could do that! It even has some built-in effects, and by moving the neck up and down you can make string-bending sounds. Mucho fun!

I bought my daughter Guitar Hero III (wirelss Les Paul) and she loved it. My son the "real" bass player had dissed the game stating it's not like really playing the guitar. December 26th he went out and bought his own. :lol: That way when she takes it back back to her college appartment he can continue his cyber music career.

I would gladly have a gift for myself...if i got holidays.. :lol:
