What is it? It's a cd package of a holistic point of view of guitar lessons by Len Collins with a lot of helpful drag ‘n' drops. There is a review on it by David Hodge. Did I get it, because of the review? No, after reading Len's life story ( part2 find part three on your own ) and found out he had written an instructional cd; it was a no brainer for me, and it became an instant Christamas present request. :)
I liked everything about it and felt it was well worth the money (this comment has nothing to do with the “comparison to private lessons chartâ€) I learned how to read music better, use modes through reading music, organize modes on my fret board to enhance playing ability, write music, melodies, and too much more to write; - it's a good piece of instructional material that enlightened the area I was at. A bonus part of it is, Lens email help. Len definitely answers your questions quickly. Honestly though, I could have gotten my questions answered at guitarnoise.com forum, but I wanted to test it out. He was quick to adhere to my problem and I appreciated that.
Overall, Len put a lot of things I wanted to know and didn't know I wanted to know in one little cd. I've scavenged an enormous amount of things off of the internet, but Lens cd did some gluing for me. So, did my impulsive act of “his life story was cool so I'm buying it,†give birth to any regrets? No freaking way man. Good stuff.
JoCa,
Man what a review - ;D
