Second Thoughts About ItaliaStraps

I know that I have posted before that ItaliaStraps are GREAT straps and worth the 3-4 weeks it takes to get one made (I have 4 of them!). However the last one I received was VERY poor quality almost pleather-like. It wasn't worth the time to contact the seller, wait 2-3 days for a response (the usual wait time) and then ship it back and wait for another one. I figured it was only one bad one out of ALL the good ones I and many others received so I shrugged it off. I ordered another one August 29th and STILL have not received it. I emailed the seller they said it shipped...didn't say when, not tracking number or anything. I complained again a few days later and didn't get a reply. Two days ago I filed a PayPal claim...They STILL never responded! I just now escalated this to a FULL CLAIM and will let PayPal decide.

First off, I have always thought that this guy should make the straps FIRST before posting them on eBay so there wouldn't be such a long wait. Secondly, I think ItaliaStraps posts MORE straps than they can make in a reasonable amount of time and that causes a FURTHER delay. I think they are a victim of their own success.

This is all just my opinion based on my experience with IteliaStraps. I have received 3 excellent straps from them. But I just feel like many "big" businesses (I use the term BIG as a metaphor) ItaliaStraps lost track of quality control and customer satisfaction. I will no longer purchase from them.
