Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone could take a listen to a short recording I made and let me know what they think of my voice. Also any pointers on improvement would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Cool song.
Great quality to your voice and I thought your pitch was really solid. Does that song change key when it goes into the chorus? Regardless, very nice job.
The expressiveness is good too, but you're really wringing all the emotion out of the song in that first verse/chorus. Maybe a slower build, especially for that first verse?
I listened to 4 versions: the Ruffin original, Joan Osbourne, Paul Young and Boy George. Give them all a spin (with the PY and BG versions you have to ignore the synth pop arrangements); there's a unique vocal/phrasing quirk in each and they're all really good at telling the story of the song.
OT, it appears you're in St Andrew's Scotland? I'd like to offer my (completely unqualified) on site vocal training. I could crash on your couch and wouldn't be available for lessons during the day as I'd be golfing...
Welcome to GN!

I like your voice. I love the inflection and tone. There's a couple of spots you were a tad flat, but nun the less, keep it up!
Hey,
Thanks a lot for listening and the feedback. :)
